Round I: Online Submission

Contestants are required to submit a video.
Deadline for video submissions - February 21, 2025.
  • PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
  • A video performing two contrasting classical piano pieces from any period up to the 21st century (cantilena and virtuoso).
  • GROUP A
     Duration: up to 10 minutes. Selection is based on these recordings, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.
  • GROUP B
     Duration: up to 15 minutes. Selection is based on these recordings, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.
  • GROUP C
     Duration: up to 25 minutes. Selection is based on these recordings, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.
Video Recording Requirements

Round II

This round will be held at Steinway Hall, Dubai.
The number of Contestants will be announced after the completion of Round I.
  • PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
  • One or more classical pieces from the period up to the 1970s.
  • GROUP A
     Duration: up to 10 minutes. Selection is based on these performances, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.
  • GROUP B
     Duration: up to 15 minutes. Selection is based on these performances, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.
  • GROUP C
     Duration: up to 25 minutes. Selection is based on these performances, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.

Final ROUND

Final Round will be held at Steinway Hall, Dubai.
The number of Contestants will be announced after the completion of Round II. Contestants will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

  • One or more classical pieces, including at least one from the contemporary classical repertoire (1970s onward).
  • GROUP A
    Duration: up to 10 minutes. Selection is based on these performances, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.
  • GROUP B
    Duration: up to 15 minutes. Selection is based on these performances, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.
  • GROUP C
    Duration: up to 25 minutes. Selection is based on these performances, with up to 50 points awarded by the committee.

Award Ceremony & Gala Concert

Will be held at the Dubai Opera Studio.
The Top Three Contestants and Honourable mention winners will be announced and awarded.
All Laureates will take part in the Gala Concert, which will close the Competition.
